I am an experienced Investment banker with a diverse background in various industries, including information technology, investment banking, BPO, KPO, and hedge fund services. I possess strong skills in Microsoft Excel, customer service, management, financial analysis, fixed income, corporate actions, trade settlement, middle office operations, fund accounting, allocation, and finance.
My educational background includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on banking, corporate finance, and securities law from Savitribai Phule Pune University. With over 6 years of work experience, I have gained significant exposure to the corporate world and capital markets.
Throughout my career, I have been involved in various aspects of capital markets, including handling corporate actions such as mandatory, mandatory with choice, and voluntary actions. I have also worked on fixed income processing, client money management, and processing payments for corporate actions. Additionally, I have experience in reconciling and settling failed trades, as well as managing risks and claims associated with corporate actions.
Within the mutual fund industry, I have expertise in calculating the Net Asset Value (NAV) and Gross Asset Value (GAV) of funds, reconciling principal and income portfolios, performing mutual fund accounting, and preparing monthly proofs and reconciliations of mutual fund accounting books.
In the hedge fund sector, I have gained experience in hedge fund accounting, trade settlement, loan settlement, CLO/CDO reconciliation, claim settlement, trade modification, structured finance, hedge fund reporting to fund managers and clients, trust account administration, and closely collaborating with fund managers to schedule settlement agreements.
Moreover, I have had the opportunity to work part-time in a crypto assets rating firm. In this role, I engaged in activities such as asset tokenization, trading, research, and client relationship management.
